Internal Communications Platforms - has technology lost you that Personal Touch?

Technology certainly is having a positive effect on how companies are actively engaging with their internal workforce and there are companies who have been early adopters to using technology in a positive way. Is there a point where the human conversational approach is being lost? We firmly believe that companies should adopt an integrated approach to their internal communications plan; their communications mix should not be purely focused on using just one channel.

IT companies who have traditionally been the early adopters to using technology as a platform to communicate to their workforce have started to review whether they have lost the human element of great communications. We are currently talking to a Global IT Company to develop a print based Magazine as their staff feel too overloaded with the amount of digital communications. Of course there are companies who have not embraced technology as much as they should and they are certainly in a different space but you should never forget that the human relationship between a company and its people is very important.
