CA3 were up for two awards at the CIPD Recruitment Marketing Awards (Best Internal Comms and Best Website under 50k) and we're more than pleased to mention we won!!! Best Internal Comms was bagged by our client RBS and their personalised, graduate onboarding portal. Commiserations to our other fab client, Kerry and their graduate website.

We consider ourselves to be pretty good at candidate onboarding, or embedding as we often refer to it - it's why we developed our award-wnning onboarding system, Eli. And, in our view, the end goal of any good onboarding process is for candidates to feel part of the company sooner and reach full competency faster. Achieve both and your organisation will flourish.

This embedding, should start as soon as a candidate has accepted the job offer allowing you to use the time they have before they start to make them feel like they already have. This will ensure they can hit the ground running, reduces the chances of them accepting another offer (or counter offer) while they're waiting to start, and allows them to get to know their team, peers, business area, company, goals and challenges.

No where is this more important than in the graduate arena. With upwards of nine months between offer and day one, plently of things can, and often do, happen. As graduates are now prone to accept multiple offers, companies who fail to engage at this pivotal time will find drop-out rates increasing as more innovative organisations steal their new hires. The same could be said of interns too. If you don't engage with this hugely important pipeline after their Summer placement, someone else will.

How do we know this? Well, it was one of the principle reasons RBS asked us to revolutionise their onboarding process. You can read more about that project here.

And, if you'd like to know more about our approach to onboarding, and the products we can offer to help you engage and embed new people into your organisation in a consistent, personalised and innovative way, give us a call

Before we go, we'd also like to say 'Thanks!' to our fabulous RBS clients. Great work comes from a great relationship and we're very lucky to have such a relationship with RBS.
