Kerry Production Systems

The Kerry Production System creates an environment where all team members can contribute to improvement activities. This means that the process of creating and delivering food to Kerry's customers and consumers gets better and better, empowering everyone (be they on the production line or sitting behind a desk) to bring about positive change for the business.

When CA3 got involved, the system had been developed but implementation of the process, and the training of their teams, around the country had only just begun. CA3 supported Kerry in creating the KPS brand, internal communications and presentations to ensure everyone in the organisation knew how to play their part. This involved getting to understand the business on a very deep level, plus many trips to their different sites to see KPS in action and lots of scrummy food being made (loved the naan kilns!)

When a site achieves a certain level of KPS, they are awarded a trophy which CA3 had the honour of creating too. The trophy, which you can see in it's 3D printed and finished states above, reinforces the KPS's aim - everyone working together to achieve perfection. The sphere, which the people on the award are holding aloft, changes colour to show which level of KPS the site has achieved.

One of Kerry Foods Area Managers keeps one in his car he loves it that much. So do we.
